Transaction account of non-resident legal entities


Non-resident legal entities are companies, sole proprietors and other legal entities with a seat outside the Republic of Macedonia, as well as their representative offices in the Republic of Macedonia.



Required documents for opening a non-resident account of a legal entity:


- For the legal entity and his legal representative, an Extract is required from the trade register or another register where the records are kept for the legal entities in the country where the entity is registered. The document must not be older than 6 months and it should contain the data about the date of establishment of the legal entity, the title, the address, the seat, and the activity that is performs;

- An identification document (passport) and a written authorization signed by the legal representative are required for the individual persons who will be authorized to work with the accounts;


- A document issued by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia or an extract from the Central Register of the Republic of Macedonia, as well as a power of attorney of the responsible person in the representative office is required for the non-resident legal entity – diplomatic representative office of a foreign country or a representative office of an international organization. 

  • Document for the registration from the domicile state translated by a permanent court interpreter, not older than 6 months;
  • Authorization for a representative office, issued by the foreign company, translated by a permanent court interpreter, not older than 6 months;
  • Identification document – passport of the legal representative or an authorized person with attached original power of attorney, translated by a permanent court interpreted and certified by a notary public;
  • Current status or a Decision for Registration, not older than 6 months, issued by the Central Register.
